ISLAND PAG (285 kmq, 7500 Einw.) situated in the southern part of the Kvarner region,C is connected to the land by ferryboat on the north and by bridge on the south. The island is
app.63 km long and between 2,5 and 9 km wide.
Pag is wellknown for its famous "Paški
sir"(cheese of pag), "Žutica" white wine, and for its lamb-meat which has a unique taste
because of the vegetation and climate condition.
The island coast (269 km long), with its
numerous bays, sand and pebble beaches, and crystal clear waters make this island one
of most attractive in the region.
