PREKO
Preko is picturesque tourist resort situated in the heart of the island of
Ugljan, and connected to
Zadar with many ferrylines.
The name «PREKO» in the croatian language means «ACROSS», because it lies opposite from the city Zadar.
The most beautiful beach is situated on a small island called GALOVAC(85m from Preko).
On this islet of lush vegetation, clear sea, beautiful pebble and sandy beaches, there is also a ancient monastry of Tertiary Franciscans.
In front of the islet Galovac there is a sandy beach for our youngest visitors with corresponding facilities (slide, volleyball on the sand and so on).
